The Skullgirl Bloody Marie

Here's a picture of my Bloody Marie cosplay from Skullgirls! I had a difficult time picking who I wanted to cosplay because I love them all but I decided to start with Marie. I would really LOVE to see her route picked up and be able to play as her. Who knows maybe I'll have to start on a Squigly cosplay soon. 

The outfit was something that I managed to whip together three days before katsucon. I received help from my friend Charlie (he does awesome work and managed to win the Smite cosplay contest with his hades cosplay!) and we made the vacuum out of a plastic bucket, pvc, worbla, foam, and I ripped the wheels off of this weird worm toy from goodwill that is still hanging out in my apartment.

The dress is made of a suiting that I picked up from my favorite fabric store in Atlanta called fine fabrics. For the under skirt I wanted the pleats to not droop so I sewed in over 12 yards of horse hair braid. I used a hoop skirt and a malco modes petticoat to give it a lot of volume. I had to put a wire frame in my bow as well so it wouldn't deflate.
